DUETT. Ein Tanzstück zur Bewegung des Hörens

Jenny Beyer

Dance and music are probably the most discussed and historically most controversial art couple of the past centuries. In "DUETT", Hamburg choreographer Jenny Beyer, together with Chris Leuenberger, Chihiro Araki and composer Jetzmann, devotes herself to the touching and expressive effect of music on dance, and takes three piano pieces by Frédéric Chopin as the basis for her choreography. Jenny Beyer and team question the conventions of our perception and focus their on the dancing body that is listening to music.
